On 26 September the the EPA’s Training Center - Combat Training Division - conducted a Tactical Breacher Course in Prague/CZ. It was the first ever conducted by our Training Center and proved to be a huge success! We were able to ram doors, practice manual breaching tactics and use the 12 gauge shogun. Tactical approaches, break/rake window techniques and initial domination of rooms and hallways after successful breaching of the entry made for an outstanding course.

On 25 September the the EPA’s Training Center - Combat Training Division - conducted our ever popular Tactical Rifle Course. This was a true international training operation as students from Italy, Czech Republic, France, United States, Greece and Singapore came together for a long, demanding and very exciting range day of training. Upon successful completion of all requirements students were awarded the US Police Assault Rifle and U.S. Army Marksmanship badges and certificates.

On 23-25 September the EPA’s Training Center - Airborne Training Division - conducted a Parachute Jump Exercise in Czech Republic.. This exercise was a great opportunity for our members - coming from USA, Greece, Italy and Canada - to advance their jump skills and earn the Czech Army Parachute Badge and several other official Military Jump Wings from our guest Jump Masters. Some Soldiers also took this opportunity to take part in the Military Free Fall Course – thus earning their official Gold Slovak MFF Wings!

On 19-22 September the EPA’s Training Center - Medical Training Division - conducted a a Tactical Medical Course in Prague/CZ. Attendees from Italy, Greece and the Czech Republic were tested both physically and mentally as they were first instructed in the difficult but vital roles of the Tactical Medic Police and Military Special Operations world. The course focused on the down/injured operator's rescue and medical treatment under real combat conditions.

On 8-12 August a delegation of our Association, all active paratroopers of Italian Army, took part in the “PJE 2011” the annual Parachute Jump Exercise organized by the Airborne Brigade 26 of German Army (LL Brig 26 -Saarland-). During the training week spent with the German Paratroopers in Saarlouis our guys had the opportunity to jump with the T-10 parachute out C-160 Transall. Our guys were awarded German Wings.

On 22-24 July the EPA’s Training Center - Airborne Training Division - conducted a Parachute Jump Exercise in Czech Republic.. This exercise was a great opportunity for our members - coming from Italy, Denmark, Romania and Portugal - to advance their jump skills and have a true exchange of Airborne experience with JMs from Czech Republic, Italy and US Army. Upon completion of all requirements students were awarded the Czech and US Army wings.

On 21-24 July the EPA’s Training Center - Airborne Training Division - conducted a Parachute Jump Course in Czech Republic. Students received an intensive jump training in reference to the military standards by highly qualified airborne instructors coming from the NATO countries’ Armed Forces and performed parachute SL descents with true military round parachutes. Upon completion of all requirements students were awarded the Czech and European wings.

On 01-07 June the EPA’s Training Center - Combat Training Division - conducted a training stage with the Ukrainian Spetsnaz. The training focuses on the combat techniques and tactics of the Spetsnaz. Our students practiced in CQC, Building/Vehicle/Airplane assaults, Sniper & Marksmanship, Tactical Repelling, Tactical Scuba Diving and Parachuting. Upon completion of all requirements participants were awarded Ukrainian Spetsnaz certification.

On 01-03 June the EPA’s Training Center - Airborne Training Division - conducted a Parachute Jump Exercise with the Ukrainian Spetsnaz. This exercise was a great opportunity for our members to experience parachute jumping with D-6 and D1-5U Russian/Ukrainian military round parachutes and to advance their airborne experience and parachute jump skills. Upon completion of all requirements students were awarded the Ukrainian and Russian wings.

On 01-02 June the EPA’s Training Center - Diving Training Division - conducted a basic tactical scuba diving training stage with the Ukrainian Spetsnaz. The training focuses on the combat scuba diving techniques and tactics of the Spetsnaz. Our students practiced in the use of open-circuit equipment, safety procedures and principles of tactical underwater navigation. Upon completion of all requirements participants were awarded Ukrainian Spetsnaz certification.

On 31 Maj - 04 June the EPA’s Training Center - Combat Training Division - conducted SWAT and Active Shooter Courses in Thessaloniki/Greece using our Mobile Training Team – MTT. The courses reserved to the Special Forces of Greek Coast Guard focuses on the combat techniques and tactics of the US Police SWAT Teams. Upon successful completion of all requirements students were awarded the SWAT Operator Badge.

Last April a delegation of our Association took part in a team tactics training stage with the German Army elite forces. The training focuses on the combat techniques and tactics of the NATO’s Special Reaction Teams -SRT. It was a very long and demanding training week but everyone stepped up and performed in an outstanding manner. Upon completion of all requirements participants were awarded German Army training certification.

On 22-24 April the EPA’s Training Center - Airborne Training Division – conducted a Parachute Jump Course in Pribram/Czech Republic. This course was a great opportunity for the students coming from Denmark, Germany, Portugal and France who haven't yet joined an airborne course to experience parachute jumping with true military round parachute. Upon completion of all requirements students were awarded the Czech, Slovak and Italian wings.

On 5 April the EPA's Combat Training Division – conducted a Tactical Field Search Course near Prescott/USA using our Mobile Training Team – MTT. The course focused on movement across open terrain and immediate reaction to hostile fire It was a very long and demanding day but everyone stepped up and performed in an outstanding manner. Upon completion of all requirements students were awarded the EPA Tactical Field Search certificate.

On 7-10 March the EPA's Medical Training Center – conducted a Tactical Medical Course in Salerno/Italy using our Mobile Training Team – MTT. On 4-16 January the EPA's Airborne Training Center – conducted for the first time a Parachute Rigger Course in Sermide/Italy using our Mobile Training Team – MTT. Durig this full-immersion parachute rigger course students had the opportunity to packing Static Line maine military Parachute as they learned and practices multiple times during the days. Students were awarded the EPA and the U.S. Army Rigger Wings.

The course reserved to the Military and Police operators focuses on the assault rifle techniques. Upon successful completion of all requirements students were awarded the Czech Police Assault Rifle and Pistol Certificate, the US Police Assault Rifle Badge and U.S. Army Marksmanship Badge.

On 2-3 October the EPA’s Combat Training Center – conducted a Combat Pistol Course in Naples/Italy using our Mobile Training Team – MTT. The course reserved to Medic Officers and NCOs of the Italian Army focuses on the combat pistol tactics and techniques. This training was conducted in full gear at all times. Upon successful completion of all requirements students were awarded the U.S. Army Marksmanship Badge.

On 20-22 September we have run in Prague/Czech Republic a SWAT training course reserved to the members of the Czech Police. During the course our Czech comrades have learned the combat techniques and tactics of the American SWAT Teams and according to the US Police Force’s regulations, after have successfully completed the training, was qualifield for the prestigious US Police SWAT Operator Badge.

From 17th to 19th September, active and retired paratroopers coming from Czech Republic, Ukraine, France, Italy, Great Britain and USA took part in the Operation Eastern Wings 2010, our traditional international jump event in Czech Republic with JMs guest from Eastern Europe. During the jump event spent in Pribram our comrades had the opportunity to do the jumps out AN-2 airplane with OVP-68 military round parachute.

From 16 to 18 July members of the European Paratroopers Association coming from 8 different countries (Czech, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, France, Italy and Greece) had a true exchange of Airborne experience and skills with JMs from Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy and US Army during our event in Czech Republic. Our members had the opportunity to do SL jumps out L-410 Turbolet airplane with military round parachutes.

On 17-20 June 12 active and retired soldiers coming from South Africa, USA, Great Britain, Ireland and Greece took part in our Basic Airborne Course in Czech Republic. They had an intensive prejump training, but for most of them, expert paratroopers it was just a refresh. After the training they jump out AN-2 airplane with OVP-68 round chute and at the end of the event were awarded Czech, Slovak and European Wings.

On 12-17 May we have organized in Kiev/Ukraine a jump operation with the Ukrainian “Spetsnaz”. Our operation included D-1-5U static line descents from AN-2 and marksman test with Spetsnaz light arms (AK-74, SVD, PKM, etc.). According to the Ukrainian regulations our members were awarded Ukrainian parachutist badge. Beside the Ukrainian badge they were awarded also Russian and European parachutist badge.

On 16-17 April a group of paratroopers from the Italian Army “Folgore” Airborne Brigade took part in the Combat Pistol Course organized by the Combat Training Center of our Association. The Italian Paratroopers was trained in combat pistol tactics and techniques. This training took place during night and day and was conducted in full gear at all times

On 4th February 2010 a group of Italian policemen from "Guardia di Finanza” and "Carabinieri" of counterterrorism quick reaction force took part in the Combat Pistol Course organized in Italy by the Combat Training Center of our Association. The students was trained in basic and advanced combat pistol tactics and techniques.

Thanks to the Commander of 5150th Special Markmanship Unit of United States Army, last 12th January the Shooting Training Center of our Association had the opportunity to organize in Italy a training day to do the US Army Marksman Test. The training day was reserved to the Italian Reserve Officers Association. At the end of the day all the Officers and NCOs ware succesfully qualify for the US Army Pistol and Rifle Badges.
