To do that we offer our members the absolute best airborne training available on the European Continent… Airborne courses and parachute jump exercises in accordance to military standards, and the amazing opportunity to take part in several Airborne wings exchange events with jump master teams from several nations in order to earn a set of Foreign Jump Wings. All airborne training matters of the European Paratroopers Association is managed by our Airborne School.

European Paratroopers Airborne School

To offer our members the best comprehensive basic and advanced airborne training the European Paratroopers Association Board approved the formation of the Airborne School under the direction and control of LTC Giulio Festa. The EPA’s Airborne School was formed with the expressed mission of training and assisting our members in every aspect of military parachuting. We have established a good and close cooperation with Airborne and Special Forces Units in Europe and North America in order to perform joint military training. At European Paratroopers Airborne School, you will learn how to jump out of an aircraft, navigate by using your parachute, land safely on the ground and move on to an objective. Partizanske, Slovakia is where European Paratroopers members are trained and the european parachutist wings are earned.

- Basic Airborne Course (BAC) is usually accomplished by our members, who are not yet airborne qualified, giving them the opportunity to qualify as military parachutists. During our course airborne students will receive an intensive full-immersion theoretical and pratical airborne training, in accordance to military standards, by highly qualified airborne instructors and jump masters coming from NATO's airborne forces. The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the basic static line parachuting techniques and tactics. These parachuting techniques and tactics are being used worldwide by airborne and special operation forces. During this course the student will acquire airborne capabilities, skills and knowledge required to execute safe parachute jump operations with military round canopy parachute. Static line techniques and tactics, parachute jump procedures, behaviour below the parachute, malfunctions, emergency landings and parachute landing falls will be emphasized. This course will start with the common fundamentals of military static line parachuting and will quickly progress to more advance tactics and techniques. You will perform parachute static line descents with current operational military round canopy parachute systems. Students are trained in the use of static line deployed T-10D and MC1-C/D/E parachutes.

- Basic Airborne Refresher (BAR) is mandatory for our members that have not made a jump within the last 6 months. Airborne refresher training for all personnel is conducted at the Airborne School. The jumper will receive a refresher training by highly qualified Airborne Instructors. Upon completion of the training the Airborne Instructor will provide the jumper with a memorandum of completion and the jumper will be again ready to perform parachute static line descents with current operational military round canopy parachute systems.

- Parachute Jump Exercise (PJE) is designed to give our members a true international parachute jump experience and to advance their airborne experience and parachute jump skills. The jumper will receive a pre-jump training briefing by highly qualified Airborne Instructors and Jump Masters coming from NATO and friend countries' Airborne Forces and will perform parachute static line descents with current operational military round canopy parachute systems. At the end of the exercise, according to host unit’s regulations, jumpers will be awarded military parachutist qualification.
