QUICK EVENT OVERVIEW

The PARACHUTE RIGGER COURSE is a military parachute rigger training course designed to give our members the opportunity to learn basic parachute rigger techniques and advance their military parachute skills and experience. During our course you will receive an intensive full-immersion theoretical and pratical parachute rigger training, in accordance to military standards, by highly qualified rigger instructors coming from NATO's airborne forces. The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the basic military parachute rigger techniques, and round parachutes systems packing procedures. These parachute rigger techniques and packing procedures are being used worldwide by paratroopers and airborne forces. Static line round parachutes packing procedures, parachute systems minor repairs and maintenance, and safety procedures will be emphasized. During this course the students will acquire rigger capabilities, skills and knowledge required to packing military round canopy parachutes. Rigger students will be required to demonstrate their personnel parachute proficiency by physically performe a parachute jump with any parachute they have packed. You will improve your airborne experience and your military parachute skills. You will learn the work of a military rigger and you will be ready to support the EPA airborne operations. Please note that this course is also open to former former military riggers that need a refresh. Personnel interested to take part in the rigger refresher training have to contact us for details. 

AWARDS & WINGS EXCHANGE

At the end of the course - once you have successfully completed the pratical examination, you will be ready to move onto the final step - inspecting and repacking 10 main parachutes and perform the required parachute jump descent with any parachute you have packed to be finally awarded with the European Rigger Wings (EPA parachute Rigger badge and certification). If eligible, after you have performed the required tests, as true wings exchange you may be awarded with foreign Rigger Wings by the host Unit’s responsible Training Officers. Different foreign Rigger Wings may be awarded. Master Rigger from many nations like Italy and USA and more nations may join to award their national rigger wings. The rigger qualified members, interested to earn a set of foreign rigger wings have to contact us for details.

Our truly all-inclusive rate includes:

Five (5) days of practical and theoretical military parachute rigger training course. Assistance for the parachute rigger pratical examination portion of the training, one (1) SL parachute jump descents with current operational military round canopy parachute systems (jump insurance, jump tickets, parachutes rental, parachute packing, jump helmet rental, ground safety and activity fees included), static line military round canopy parachute rigger qualification diploma, card and badge (EPA International Certificate of Parachuting Proficency), parachutist log-book, and as an extra bonus a FREE national parachute rigger set (Italian). Students will also receive a full training pack which includes parachute rigger training manual, notebook, pen, stickers and corporate folder. Furthermore the rate also cover six (6) nights hotel full board accommodation (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in shared room, Wi-Fi Internet access, and taxes, as well as all transfers from the School to the Drop Zone and back.
