4TH OPERATION WINTER STORM

Extreme-cold weather airborne exercise.On 27-29 January we have run on the beatiful Tatra muntains in Slovakia our traditional winter jump exercise. Paratroopers coming from Slovakia, Norway, United Kingdom, Italy and Greece have joined the EPA staff for the 4th edition of the OPERATION WINTER STORM, the European Paratroopers advanced military parachute jump exercise. The aim of this exercise is to familiarize our members with the parachute jump methods, techniques and tactics used in extreme-cold weather airborne operations by the NATO Airborne and Special Operation Forces.
