Dear Comrades and Friends, Travel restrictions imposed by local authorities to minimize the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) change dynamically and always require immediate action. We have no influence on the decisions taken by the government administration, but we must immediately comply with them, which may cause last-minute changes to our event calendar. The Central Crisis Staff of the Slovak Republic adopted, inter alia, travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 disease. At this date, in accordance with the Measure of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic Foreigners (including EU citizens) who enter the territory of the Slovak Republic and who visited a country not considered to be a "low-risk country"*** from the epidemiological point of view during the previous 14 days, are ordered to remain in self-isolation until they receive the negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19 done in the Slovak Republic. This person is obliged to contact the competent Regional Public Health Authority and to undergo the laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19 not earlier than on the fifth day of self-isolation. Entry of foreigners through the internal air border if flying from a country not listed as a "low-risk country" is not allowed (flight departure from the country not listed as a "low-risk country"). Such flights are prohibited. According to the Slovak Ministry of Health on 12 July 2020, Slovakia reported 1,902 confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), but the situation worsened last week, when Slovakia began to report a new growth of the virus. This may bring Slovakia to modify anytime the list of “low-risk countries” and to reimpose quarantine for all visitors from other countries following a possible second wave of COVID-19 in Europe. Therefore, we are working closely with local authorities to find the best way to avoid problems for our members who are travelling to Slovakia to join our Airborne School. Our events should currently run according to the original timetable. We monitor the situation closely, and in the event of changes, we will notify you as soon as we receive official confirmation, so keep your eye on this page and on our socials. We appreciate your cooperation and we are looking forward to welcoming you at our Drop Zone!
