Yesterday evening, after a very long day the European Volunteers Corps (formerly European Paratroopers - Operational Detachment) Convoy entered in Ukraine and delivered other two tons of humanitarian aid (food, baby food, diapers, hygiene products and medical supplies) to the Lviv Volunteering Center who is supplying the war torn areas in the east of the Country that has the biggest need at the moment. Two vehicles of Green Cross - Gambettola ambulance service joined our convoy in Poland to be escorted to Lviv, Ukraine. It was nice discover that the two drivers, Enrico and Mario are fellow Paratroopers who served in the 1st Tuscania Carabinieri Parachute Regiment and 185th Folgore Parachute Artillery Regiment. Job well done brothers! Airborne! With this last mission the humanitarian aid delivered by the European Paratroopers Association EPAID program in Ukraine from the start of the war reached 67 tons! Really a huge effort that was possible only because of our amazing donors! A special thanks goes to the Swiss Security Forces Association and to the Green Cross - Gambettola for their very generous donations who made this last mission possible. We can do more but we need your help! Your donations will make our work possible! With your support we can do more! Get involved in the EPAID FOR UKRAINE 2022 Project supporting our fundraising campaign! DONATE NOW! |
